Certified Advanced Rolfer™
Dawn is a graduate of the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration and has been practicing Rolfing® structural integration since December 2006. She first experienced this type of work in 2002 at the hands of her mother June, who also is a Certified Advanced Rolfer™. During that time, she began to notice a shift in her posture from a slumped over position to one which had more ease and flow. Her body felt less compressed and she no longer wore out her shoes on the outside edge of the heel. Soon after, she followed in her mother’s footsteps into Rolfing®structural integration.
Rolfing®structural integration is a system of manual therapy and awareness education which is designed to create greater freedom of movement, improve posture and reduce stress by easing chronic patterns of strain in the body. The strain is locked in the body via our myofascial network, a soft tissue web that holds and organizes our bones, muscles and organs. Rolfing®structural integration addresses these patterns in a series of sessions, usually ten, whose purpose is to organize the parts of the body into an integrated whole.
Dawn asks you, what would it feel like to live in a body that is free? Imagine a body that flows, has more freedom of movement, better alignment, and less aches and pain. If you have ever suffered from or have current neck or back pain, postural imbalances, plantar fasciitis, repetitive stress injuries, history of slips and falls, history of surgery, and /or history of automobile accidents, then feel free to contact Dawn. She believes that alignment is key to function, vitality and effortless living.
