Acupuncture is a healing art that is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is an effective treatment for both physical ailments and emotional imbalances. Treatment consists of a licensed practitioner using acupuncture needles to stimulate specific points on the body, promoting a healing response as the body is balanced and strengthened. Diagnostic information comes from the patient’s verbal reporting of symptoms, as well as the taking of the pulse by the practitioner. After the needles are inserted the patient rests. Total treatment time ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Since acupuncture treats the person, not the dis-ease, it is effective for a variety of issues.  It can treat pain, insomnia, depression, anxiety, PTSD, drug addiction, PMS, menopausal imbalances, phobias, ADD, ADHD and more. Essentially all dis-ease effects our Qi (energy), and Acupuncture assists to harmonize and restore balance.

Acupuncture is equally beneficial for adults and children and is a powerful preventative as well, as it strengthens the immune system, creates a state of deep relaxation and an overall sense of well being and health.
